Barna in Munich

Since I couldn't travel to my favorite holiday destination this year due to the current situation, I came across this Spaniard - more by chance. We were served very friendly, of course "had" to put ourselves in a list, the distance to the next guest was kept, the hygiene concept was as it should be (this only because the previous recession surprised me a bit). About the meal: We were there in the evening, so we ate our way through the entire tapas menu. My companion and I are thrilled: Authentic, delicious, fair price, good wine, ... TOP!

Covid disaster Actually zero stars. Absolute disaster. No list to enter the contact details. In the event of an inspection, I would have to pay a fine as a guest, whereby the operator refuses to keep a list. Soft drinks are all sold out, there is only wine or coffee. Since we wanted to have brunch, I ordered coffee. The sugar came in a sticky shaker that couldn't get out of it due to dirt and moisture. So coffee and away. There are of course no ashtrays either. Then get herpes afterwards. And this filth at such times. The store should be officially closed

Friendly service, cool decor, delicious tapas and good wine! Whether for an aperitif, dinner or weekend brunch, I definitely recommend a visit to Barna!

My new favorite tapas bar in Munich: Incredibly delicious tapas and sangria ? Outstanding quality and very fine, small, authentic selection. The best thing is the really fair price. The service was very friendly. For a bit of waiting, you should have a bit of understanding in the current time and often with fewer staff! And yes, the tapas only come gradually from the kitchen, but if you complain about it, you have not understood the principle of eating tapas ... Everything is then freshly prepared.

Tapas were good. However, the operation was quite inattentive. For example, she brought us the wrong sangria. We also wanted to place another drink order later, unfortunately it didn't come to our table. The tapas also came to our table at very different times.

Great location, great staff, but I'm hungrier from the restaurant than I went in. Unfortunately too crowded, the kitchen does not come after with the delicious tapas and you just have to wait too long. Spent money on a nice evening, but I still have to get something to eat ...

It was nice and the food was good for a quiet Sunday brunch. I love that they gave us blankets for outside as it was a bit chilly.

The website says they have churros con chocolate on Saturdays and Sundays (screenshot attached), but they're actually only available for Sunday brunch. Disappointing, as that's why we went there. We had some tapas anyway, and they were fine.

Barna is a cozy and vivid local restaurant, with real Spanish roots! All the ingredients are locally bought in Spain, bringing the local authentic Barcelona cuisine to Munich. The menu offers a good range from small dishes to a good lunch/dinner. Even for drinks and some tapas it’s a must to go to Barna, tip order the rose sangria and ask for some suggestions depending on the flavors you like. The staff and host are friendly making it as convenient as possible for a good visit! Oh and before I forget try Pintxos on Thursday evenings!

Nothing advisable if you are looking for a tapas place to take Spanish food menus. Very high prices for the quantity and quality of food. We were 4 people and almost none finished their plate. The account came out worth 75 euros and we were not even full or happy. The most curious thing is that it has no potato omelette on the menu.

Nice place to meet

My bf is from Barcelona, I arranged a dinner for our anniversary here and we loved it. Well it was our 5th time to be here. The food is delicious, sth new and great to your unsatisfied taste sensors! The staff is also very nice and helpful in choosing food!

Sunday brunch mix with delicious churros in sympathetic surroundings. We felt welcome. Allen liked it.

So far the only Spanish restaurant (outside of Spain) that tasted really good and authentic to me. The food is very good, the people who work there are very nice and the prices and portions are fair. I would recommend the croquetas because they are as they should be (soft and creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside) and taste incredibly good, especially the ones with mushrooms and truffles. To be honest, surprised me.

Great place for privat parties! We celebrated our uni reunion at Barna’s and Gemma was an amazing host. Great food and tasty drinks. I highly recommend it.

Coffee was nice

Good ambience but food was not that great. Way too expensive for the quantities.

This place is the real deal! The Catalan owners serve the best carefully selected and prepared catalan specialties. It's all made with love, passion and care and as a customer one really feels that. I totally recommend it and planning to go back soon.
